An animatic about the way people haunt us, despite if they are no longer in our lives and we are out of reach it feels as though they are everywhere we go. For me, it feels like I see them everywhere, in the faces of strangers at every turn and like my body is trying to prepare itself for what will happen when I have to come face to face with one of those trauma inducing people in my life.
Rotoscope Slap (2020)
As practice for rotoscope animation I took a deleted clip from a scene recreation from Parks and Recreation and rotoscoped some friends doing a slap scene which was a lot of fun. I wanted the importance of this animation to be the way energy connects when we touch. A violent touch ignites one being while a gentle and friendly touch ignites another.
